”Incredible. I was able to hire Christen Stephens and her musicians for our Catholic Wedding Mass and I cried with happy tears of victory when she said she was available. I read the blogs on her website that has details of previous weddings she played – it speaks volumes to how much she cares about her craft. I was also able to hear her live recordings on her website of weddings she had performed. Amazing talent and had me dreaming of our own day with her beautiful music. She cares so deeply about her performance and understands the importance of music for a special moment in people’s lives. Our guests didn’t realize it was live string music until they turned to see me walk down the aisle – they couldn’t believe the melodious angelic sound was not a recording. I got chills hearing her and her musicians play as guests arrived and during the wedding ceremony. It was an out of body experience. Working with her was fantastic and communication was a 10/10. “Christen was a dream to work with. She was truly one of the most responsive and organized vendors we worked with for our wedding day. She helped us put together a beautiful musical line-up and even learned a few new pieces for our Catholic ceremony to accompany our cantor. She was extremely helpful through every step of the process: from an initial consultation to answer our multiple questions to providing song lists and recommendations for each key component of the ceremony to making herself available to arrive early for set-up to even preparing an outline of the musical run of show.

And I haven't even mentioned her beautiful music yet! She's such a talented musician - playing both the flute then surprising us by jumping on the piano when she realized a particular song would sound better with that instrument. If that's not a gold standard of service, I don't know what is! It was such a joy stepping into her world and feeling her passion for music as we planned the ceremony and cocktail hour music for my wedding day.
